This goddess is mother of eight; grandmother of one; and friend, mentor and inspiration to countless millions...   Melbourne-based Leanne Synan incorporates Spirit into her life 24/7. But this wasn't always the case. Leanne started out doing the left-brain thing in business administration, book keeping and promotions, but since seeing the light (we think it was Archangel Michael), now pursues a never- ending journey of personal and spiritual development.

The statement that changed my life

Hearing the statement 

We are not humans having a spiritual experience, 
we are spiritual beings having a human experience 

brought home to me how important it was to live by and be my spiritual understanding 24/7 instead of it being a separate part of my life and 'bringing it out on show' when appropriate. 

This understanding deepened my relationship with myself and as I began to question why I was thinking or feeling a certain way, it bought about changes within that ultimately altered my reality for the better.

How this helped me at home

Finding my spiritual path and actively participating in my development, instead of just reading about it or listening to others experiences, was one of the best steps I have ever taken. A whole new world opened up to me as a result. Which I could certainly use in my life, let me tell you!

I have found that dealing with issues that arise with our children takes on a whole new outlook when dealt with from a more spiritual perspective.  

For example, now that Meg (14) has an insight into who she really is she has been able "buck the system" of peer group pressure.  On a casual day at school Meg explained to her close friends that it doesn't matter what we wear its who we are on the inside! So about five of them went to school in comfortable clothes (baggy pants, comfy jumpers ) to prove a point instead of trying to compete with the latest trends. It worked like a charm.

Coupled with listening to my very strong guidance from angels and goddess it certainly works wonders and minimises the stress levels within the family home. A bonus considering nine of us are still living under the same roof and it can be a minefield at times. 

How this helped me in my career

My business life took on a whole new perspective as well. Whilst I was learning to work with the Universal Laws and energies my co workers were wondering what was going on with me. Rather than trying to talk the theory I literally put my new found skills into action and things flowed and worked more smoothly, rather than fighting that feeling of swimming against the tide which was how it had felt on many occasions.

How this helped me on my path

When I had decided to change careers I commanded help from my angelic friends and within days a brand new path opened up which I had never considered or even realised I was qualified for - it literally just fell into my lap. 

I followed the signs knowing it to be divinely guided and my work is now centred around helping others to find their own spirituality, and giving them the opportunity to empower themselves, enhance their lives and in turn find that inner peace within.

My Life Lesson (until the next one)

Life certainly still has ways of throwing curve balls that appear out of nowhere and disrupting what I perceive to be my life going well. However knowing I have tapped into a power beyond the realms of the physical allows me to deal with these challenges in a way that brings a richness and depth of learning that only enhances those new adventures that are always waiting around the corner.

Where to from here?

As a working Mum of eight children (five pregnancies, three willing inmates!) my life is certainly filled to the brim with an abundance of normal tasks, amazing issues to be dealt with and plenty of twists and turns in our journey to keep me on my toes or lay me out with exhaustion which ever the case may be on the day!

But in the end wherever I go, whatever I do, or whoever I meet, I will always remember that I am a spiritual being having a human experience.
